Honduras: Marcha y entrega de la Ley Marco por el Derecho a la Alimentación & Feria de Comidas Tipicas

Marcha y entrega de la Ley Marco por el Derecho a la Alimentación: Queremos aprovechar el enfoque del Derecho Humano a la Alimentación que tiene el Día Mundial de la Alimentación en 2007 para entregar al Congreso Nacional la propuesta para la “Ley Marco sobre el Derecho a la Alimentación en Honduras”. Esta propuesta fue elaborado en el espacio demoninado “Foro Agricola”, donde se reunen alrededor de 20 organizaciones luchando para una mejor implementación del Derecho Humano a la Alimentación en Honduras. La entrega de la propuesta se realizará en el marco de una manifestación cívica de 2000 personas. Feria de Comidas Tipicas: El evento culminará con una Feria de Comidas Criollas en el marco de un día sin comida chatarra, donde se divulgarán los impactos negativos de este tipo de comida en la salud y la economía nacional y las ventajas de continuar consumiendo nuestra propia comida. En tres lugares de la capital se va a vender – enfrente de las cadenas transnacionales de comida chatarra – la comida tradicional hondurena. Organizado por FIAN Honduras.

Gran concentración contra el hambre: 2 pm Acción “Derechos de Petición contra el Hambre”: La Campaña Nacional por el Derecho a la Alimentación, el Movimiento de Crsitianos por la Paz y la justicia Social, la Mesa Mujer y Economía, con motivo del Día mundial por el Derecho a la Alimentación *a conmemorarse el día *16 de octubre, planean “INUNDAR LAS INSTITUCIONES PÚBLICAS CON DERECHOS DE PETICIÓN CONTRA EL HAMBRE Y LA DESNUTRICIÓN.” La Acción se realiza en los diferentes departmentos y ciudades ante las Alcaldías y Gobernaciones, las seccionales del ICBF, las Secretarías de Agricultura departamentales y municipales, y otras entidades similares. Bolivia: Una serie de actividades en la ciudad de Sucre

La red AIPE que aglutina a diversas ONGs a nivel nacional, realizará una serie de actividades en la ciudad de Sucre donde se realiza la Asamblea Constituyente, actividades que consistirán en: i) Espacios de panel con los medios de comunicación ii) Actividades lúdicas en las calles (Teatro, títeres) para la difusión del Derecho a la Alimentación iii) Difusión permanente a través de radios de una canción compuesta sobre el derecho a la alimentación La representación de la FAO/Bolivia presentará el marco de la celebración del DMA el Informe sobre el vance de la promoción del Derecho a la Alimentación en Bolivia. En Bolivia, Sucre & La Paz.

The program will respond to the demands of China to produce jethropa / biofuel rather than the basic food needs of the Filipinos, thus endangering peoples´s food sovereignty with a threat of relocating millions of upland farmers and indigenous people living in the Philippines mountains.
