With regard to acute human rights abuses Face-It-Act now, together with FIAN, reacts to these with Urgent Actions. Members and supporters from all around the world, either by letter, fax or e-mail, call on those responsible to respect Human Rights. Urgent Actions are not only statements of solidarity, but often lead to evident improvements for the involved. The international reverberation strengthens their position towards stronger actors and aids them in asserting their concerns in an insistent and secure manner. We always act on request and in close collaboration with the involved local group.
