Global Food Crisis is not new
On the 10th of September, Flavio Valente, Secretary General of FIAN International participated as one of the speakers at the Hearing on Economic, Social and Cultural Rights at the European Parliament. The statement pointed out that the so called global food crisis is not new and also highlighted the central demand of the FIAN Face-It-Act-Now Campaign that there is a strong need for coherence of European Policies with the Human Right to Adequate Food.
